In His Hands Homestead

Our family homestead was born from a leap of faith and a desire to live with greater purpose, freedom, and dependence on God. In 2021, we packed up our family of five and moved to Alaska, purchasing a farm sight unseen on a wing and a prayer. We didn't know exactly what we were stepping into, but we believed YHWH was calling us into something bigger than ourselves.

What we found here was more than a piece of land. We found a community, a history, and a place worth investing in. As only the third generation of settlers in this rural Alaskan valley, we've had the privilege of hearing stories from those who helped build this place decades ago. Their resilience, hard work, and love for this land inspired us to become part of its continuing story.

The Homestead Café grew out of that vision. As an extension of In His Hands Homestead, it exists to serve our community, support local farms, businesses, and artists, and help strengthen a sustainable local economy. More than anything, we hope to create a gathering place where people feel welcome, friendships are built, and the next generation finds not only wilderness, but community, purpose, and roots deep enough to last.

We believe this corner of Alaska still has a bright future, and we're grateful to play a small part in helping it grow.
